Herbwoman Global Scholarship Program
For students with genuine need and strong commitment to herbal education
Purpose
The Herbwoman Scholarship Program exists to ensure that dedicated individuals with verifiable barriers to paying full tuition may access high-level herbal education. The scholarship is provided to support those who show sincere motivation, responsibility and intention to use this knowledge for professional, community-based or health-related benefit. To protect program quality and sustainability, only a limited number of scholarships are available at any given time.
Eligibility Criteria
A scholarship may be granted only if all of the following apply:
• The applicant is genuinely unable to pay full tuition due to a clearly defined and documented situation such as serious long-term illness, disability, extended medical or caregiving leave, refugee or displacement status, or other verifiable economic or social hardship.
• The applicant demonstrates high motivation, reliability and full commitment to complete the program in its entirety.
• The applicant intends to use their education to serve others, contribute to sustainability, or support ecological or health-based practice.
General financial discomfort, preference for reduced pricing, or minor life challenges are not valid grounds for scholarship. The program is intended as financial support for individuals in genuine need, not as a discount option.
Scholarship Coverage
• Reduction of 30–70% of the full tuition fee for the two-year distance learning program in herbal therapy and natural formulation
• Full access to course materials, digital learning platforms, supervision and the online community
• Continued access to the program provided the scholarship maintenance conditions below are met
Scholarships do not cover 100% of tuition. A personal financial contribution is always required as confirmation of commitment.
Conditions for Maintaining Scholarship
To retain the scholarship throughout the full duration of the program, the student must:
• Complete each learning module within the recommended timeframe (unless formally agreed otherwise)
• Actively participate in course discussions, supervision sessions and collaborative learning activities
• Submit assignments and required tasks consistently and on schedule
• Maintain respectful and constructive communication within the learning community
• Inform the school promptly if health or life circumstances affect progress
If the student fails to maintain reasonable participation or falls significantly behind without prior communication, the scholarship may be reconsidered and, if necessary, withdrawn. In such cases, the student may either apply for reinstatement (if circumstances allow) or continue the course at full tuition rate.
Application
Applicants must provide a personal letter describing:
• Personal and educational background
• The circumstances preventing payment of full tuition
• Motivation for joining the program and intended use of the education
• Any relevant supporting documentation (medical confirmation, financial statement etc.) if available
All applications are assessed individually with emphasis on integrity, sincerity and commitment.
Timing
The program is evergreen and has no fixed start dates. Scholarship applications are evaluated on a continuous basis subject to availability. A decision is normally provided within seven days of receiving a complete application.
