Botanical Description

Viola tricolor is a charming low-growing annual or short-lived perennial reaching 10-30cm. The small, pansy-like flowers display combinations of purple, yellow, and white (hence “tricolor”). Heart-shaped leaves have scalloped edges. The plant self-sows freely.
